Delta Airlines Is Using AI to Personalize Ticket Prices—And It Could Change How You Fly

A Delta flight had to make an emergency landing after a passenger allegedly assaulted a flight attendant and an air marshal.

The crazies are acting up again while up in the air.

This past Thursday, Delta Flight 324 was on its way to Los Angeles from Washington, D.C., when the plane had to make a change of plans and land in Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City.

The reason for the sudden recourse was all because someone couldn’t keep their hands to themselves, assaulting two people, one including an air marshal. “The passenger assaulted a flight attendant,” Oklahoma City Police Capt. Arthur Gregory told CNN in an interview. While trying to get the passenger under control after they hit the stewardess, the passenger also ended up hitting the marshal.

The plane landed at OKC at around 7:40 p.m. local time, where the man, described to be in his mid-30s, was removed from the flight by police. The FBI also questioned him about the incident.

The man’s full identity has yet to be released, and there are no confirmed details on what took place prior to the alleged assault or what charges the man will face. Delta Airlines released a statement thanking the marshal and airline team for their “quick action and professionalism of the crew and Federal Air Marshals.” It added: “We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”
