Facebook is introducing a live chat feature that will help users who are locked out of their accounts.
So long to the era in which we used to make multiple Facebook accounts because we couldn’t regain access to our original pages. For years, some people have mentioned not being able to receive an efficient amount of support from the site. One of the top complaints has been about users’ inability to retrieve old, forgotten accounts or accounts they have been locked out of.
But that’s about to change, as Meta is doing a “small test” of live chat support for English-speaking creators in the United States, The Verge reports. The social media platform said it is now testing “live chat help for some English-speaking users globally, including creators, who’ve been locked out of their accounts.”
The company added that this would be the first time that it has offered live support for the issue, and the chat will mostly help out users who aren’t able to log into their account due to unusual activity on the site. Users who previously violated its community standards will also receive help from the chat. The chat will also be available for creators to ask questions about their payments and get tutorials on new Instagram Reels features.
