Three Men Pull Off $13,000 Wig Heist At Florida Weave Boutique

Three men pulled a brazen wig burglary, which resulted in a Florida weave boutique losing $13,000.

The masked wig snatchers were caught on camera in the early morning hours on Monday storming the Sassy Sistas Boutique in Altamonte Springs. Shortly after 3:30 a.m., the men were seen taking high-priced wigs off of mannequin heads in the store before making a run for it. They also took the cash register, which was found abandoned in a nearby apartment complex. No money was missing from the register, as the robbers were likely unable to open it.

The boutique shared the surveillance footage and photos of the suspects rummaging through the shop on their Instagram page. They are pleading with anyone to come forward about who is responsible for the robbery.

One of Sassy Sistas’ owners, Jasmine Jackson, said that the theft left the business struggling.

“For us, $13,000 is a lot. That’s a pretty big deal. It hurt us financially, mentally, you know our store is our livelihood. This is how we take care of our families,” she said to news outlet WKMG-TV. Co-owner, Von Jackson, called the break-in “devastating.”

As of now, police have not announced any suspects in the case.
