Megan Thee Stallion continues to elevate in life. Not even one week after graduating from Texas Southern University, Megan is making history as the first female rapper ever to sign a major deal with Netflix to produce shows and movies.
The rapper is co-signing a deal with Netflix to create and executive produce content, including television series and other projects.
Hot Girl Megan has been seen on Television before appearing as a guest on NBC’s “Good Girls” and appearing as a judge in HBO Max’s reality competition series “Legendary.”
No details have been given about the series she’s creating and producing; however, signs point to comedy.
“Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture,” said in a statement by Tracey Pakosta, head of comedy at Netflix. “She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for the next chapter of her journey.”
“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” Megan offered in a statement. “Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur, and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life for my hotties to watch.”
The three-time Grammy winner has been a growing force, thriving in the music industry, school, and business. In October, the artists struck a deal with Popeyes creating a new hot sauce called “Hottie Sauce.”
