Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Phaedra Parks, is asking a federal judge to end his probation early, after revealing he was arrested in Miami earlier this year.

Nida has filed a petition for early termination of supervised release, according to documents acquired by Radar Online.
He revealed in the petition that he was arrested by Miami police on May 30 for a local ordinance violation after attempting to enter his hotel.
On June 1, Nida made bail for the secret arrest and informed his parole officer of his encounter with police.
According to court documents, his bail was set at $1,000, and Parks‘ former RHOA co-star Cynthia Bailey‘s ex-husband Peter Thomas picked him up from jail.
On August 5, the charges were dropped, but Nida was required to remain on GPS monitoring with strict curfews, and he claims that as a result, he has lost a lot of money.
In addition, Nida claims his probation officer made false statements to the court about the arrest, and he wants his probation terminated early to move on with his life.
A decision has not yet been made.
Nida’s probation stems from a 2014 conviction for his role in a multimillion-dollar money-laundering scam. Prosecutors claim he used fake bank accounts to launder more than $2 million.
Although he received an eight-year sentence, he was released in 2019 and ordered to complete five years of probation and supervised release.
