Wang has signed on as the first fashion designer to curate for #AppleMusic. Creating three playlists that will continually change , “Chill”, “Hype”, and “Vibe”, Wang will take listeners on a musical journey through his mental space and creativity.
“Chill” is his decompression/ night in list. It includes artists such as #Rihanna , #Drake and #TheWeeknd who is “the perfect remedy for a long day” Wang stated.
” ‘Vibe’ is more a playlist that’s in between, with songs that have high energy and also are great classics. It’s good for having people over, drinks; it’s kind of pregame music,” Wang stated in an interview with #Vogue. Featuring artists such as #ASAPRocky and #KendrickLamar, “Vibe” is setting the tone for the perfect mixer or Dinner N’ A Convo.
“Hype” lives up to its name. This playlists is reminiscent of songs “played on a party bus or en route to a festival or going out.” The high- energy playlists are sure to keep the party going.
Wayne feels most connected to #HipHop music movement and cites the genre for influencing him. Recalling listening to a miscellany of artists, Wang declares his love for Trina and her “Diamond Princess” album.
The ever evolving playlists will serve as a soundtrack for the creative individual and/or the individual looking to create a memorable night.
