Didn’t get exactly what you want this holiday season? That’s ok because some major retailers extend the time to return holiday gifts.
Instead of keeping what you don’t want, simply bring it back to wherever it was purchased within the allotted timeframe.
Check out some extended return policies below.
Walmart
You will have 90 days from December 26 to return items purchased from Walmart — in-store or online — from November 1 through December 25.
Target
Target is giving 30 days beginning December 26 for unopened electronic and entertainment items bought between October 1 and December 25. They will need to be returned by January 24. Apple products purchased within the same timeframe are refundable up until January 9.
Best Buy
Best Buy is known for its difficult return policies. This year, the retailer will accept returns on most items purchased between October 18 through January 2 until January 16. Third-party purchases are excluded.
Game Stop
You will have until January 15 or 30 days from the purchase date on items purchased after October 31. A receipt or online order number is required to complete a return.
Amazon
Good purchased directly from Amazon from October 1 through December 31 are returnable until January 31.
Macy’s
Macy’s will extend its 90-day return period for most in-store or online purchases starting October 5. You will have up until January 31 to make a return.
