Dr. Dre has reached a divorce settlement with ex-wife Nicole Young and has agreed to pay her $100 million.
Dre, whose estimated net worth is $820 million, will pay Young $50 million now and another $50 mil in a year. Sources told TMZ that the super producer and rapper is “delighted” over the agreement.
Per the settlement, Dre keeps seven properties they own, including the $100 million Brentwood estate.
He also gets full rights to his master recordings, trademarks, and more. He will also retain all of their Apple stocks, including the proceeds of his Beats by Dre sale.
The two also split their vehicles, with Dre receiving six, while Young gets four.
In addition to the payout, Young will get jewelry, cash, her bank accounts, and any property currently in storage.
She won’t be entitled to any spousal support moving forward. And she is also responsible for her own legal fees, which are estimated to be in the millions.
Young filed for divorce from Dre in June of 2020, after 24 years of marriage. The two share two adult children.
