Kanye West plans to tear down the $4.5 million home he bought across the street from Kim Kardashian to build a better home more to his liking.
“Kanye’s new house is a teardown. He only bought it for the location,” a source told the outlet. “It’s near Kim and the kids. He has a vision for the house and plans on starting construction ASAP.”
West, 44, made the decision after spending $57.3 million on a lavish modern mansion in Malibu. Even though it’s only a 30-minute drive, Kanye needed something closer.
Sources say that the rapper demanded better and quicker access to his children.
“It’s just simple logistics so that he is close to his children and has access to them at the drop of a hat,” the insider said.
This is the first time the house has been put on the market in 67 years, since the former owners purchased it when it was newly built in 1955. The house includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
