Prince Andrew’s lawyers reportedly went into crisis mode. They were locked in emergency talks overnight after Jeffrey Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty in a New York Court for recruiting and grooming underage girls for the infamous late billionaire.
According to The Mirror, Maxwell’s guilty verdict sent fear rippling through the embattled royal’s legal team as he continues to deny sexual assault allegations leveled against him in a civil lawsuit filed in Manhattan court.
One of Epstein’s most vocal accusers, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, had also alleged the Duke of York sexually abused her when she was 17 after Epstein and the British socialite trafficked her.
Prince Andrew’s legal team is strategizing over whether or not to call one of the accusers who testified for the prosecution during Maxwell’s trial to aide him in his civil case, legal sources told the outlet.
