Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs was charged with a misdemeanor DUI early Monday morning.
Hobbs was found outside The Cromwell Hotel in Las Vegas around 4 a.m. local time following the Raiders win against the Indianapolis Colts.
He was discovered sleeping at the wheel of his car by police on a parking lot exit ramp, according to TMZ.
After cops made contact with him, he was apprehended after reportedly struggling with sobriety tests.
At around 6:38 a.m. he was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The rookie fifth-round draft pick has started nine of the team’s 15 games this season. With 67 tackles, Hobbs is tied for fourth on the team, with one interception and one forced fumble.
During the Raiders’ 23-20 win over the Colts, the 22-year-old totaled four tackles and played 80 percent of defensive snaps.
His participation in the team’s Week 18 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers is now in question.
