DJ Khaled Partners With eMed for ‘Keep America Healthy’ Campaign to Improve Covid-19 Testing

DJ Khaled is partnering with eMed, a leading provider of at-home testing technology, to improve COVID-19 testing across the country.

Dr. Patrice Harris, the company’s CEO and Co-Founder, announced the partnership at the CES technology expo. Khaled debuted a joint video on social media in which he explained how eMed works and thanked the company’s employees.

“Everybody, and I mean everybody have to be tested when they come to my house,” Khaled said in the video. “What’s so beautiful about eMed is that you can get tested at home, at your pool, your office, your studio, wherever you’re at. Right there, get tested and get your results in 15 minutes right there on your phone verified.”

According to the company, this announcement is part of efforts to improve its Test-to-TreatTM services, which offer customers at-home testing and fast prescriptions for antiviral medications if they test positive for Covid-19 flu, strep, and even UTIs.

In addition to collaborating with multi-million-dollar technology companies, Khaled appeared at Art Basel with Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings to share his advice for others who want to achieve success.

“I’m a producer, I’m a DJ, I’m a father, I’m a friend. I’m in real estate, I’m in retail, I’m into restaurants, I’m into it all,” Khaled said at one point. “We’re supposed to use our social media because it’s really a free commercial for your business. One thing I learned about building a great business…If you do good business, you get good business back. If you do great business, you get great business back.”

In addition, Khaled said that patience is a huge factor in success.

“It didn’t happen overnight for me,” Khaled said. “Quincy Jones didn’t make Thriller until he was 50 years old. Me, when I turned 40, that was when my biggest success happened. I’ve worked free 90 percent of my life, 97 percent of my life, I worked for free. And anyone can vouch for that. But I knew what it would take, and so your social media, you put out that good stuff, you get that good stuff back. That’s the key.”
