Chris Noth is facing multiple sexual assault allegations, and sources tell Page Six that his friends are concerned about him and his drinking.
The accusations first surfaced just days before Christmas. Two women came forward with abuse allegations, and now he faces allegations from five women.
The backlash was swift for Noth, known for playing “Mr. Big” on Sex and the City. He was fired off of The Equalizer and has been cut from the season finale of the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That. In addition, Peloton pulled an ad featuring the actor. His agent also dropped him.
“Chris honestly feels like his life is over,” a source told the outlet. “I think that drinking has played a big role in his problems. Everything is taking a toll. His friends would like him to get some help.”
According to the outlet, Noth’s marriage to Tara Wilson has been strained since the women have come forward. So far, she is standing by her husband, but they did not spend the holidays together.
“At the moment, they’re still together. They’re trying to work things out,” one source said.
Noth has denied all of the allegations against him and feels he has no other choice but to retreat from the public eye.
“Chris has no option now but to step away from the public eye for a good long while and try to rehabilitate himself,” another insider stated.
