Porsha Williams seemingly responds to her recent behavior on her hit series “Porsha’s Family Matters.”
We can’t lie. Porsha’s spinoff has been nothing short of engaging. However, things have recently gotten a little dark, as viewers have seen her literally go toe-to-toe with her ex-fiance and father of her child Dennis McKinley.
After last night’s episode, fans took to Twitter criticizing the reality star for allegedly calling the police on Dennis following a huge fight with McKinley.
“I loved Porsha until #PorshasFamilyMatters. She looks awful and her true colors are showing. Who knew Dennis would come out looking better. #PorshaFamilyMatters,” said one Twitter user.
“Porsha is so lucky Dennis don’t have no sisters because I would be booking a flight to Mexico to level the playing field #PorshaFamilyMatters,” said another.
“Porsha wanting Dennis to be arrested when SHE was the aggressor is some gaslighting elite shit. #PorshaFamilyMatters,” another critic tweeted.
In the midst of all the backlash, Williams posted on Instagram and explained how viewers weren’t able to see what all took place during the incident.
“There is a lot that viewers didn’t get to see tonight and I wish we had more cameras to capture that, which I understand is nobody’s fault,” wrote Williams along with a video post of her seemingly in an airplane. “I’ve learned in the past that physical violence is never okay, especially when a man is causing physical harm to women. That is something we are too desensitized to as a society,” she continued. I spoke to some of my family members that were present and decided at the time it was best not to talk about what cameras didn’t get to capture because I was trying to protect Dennis, his business, and therefore our own daughter. Looking back, that was not the right idea. I take accountability for reacting strongly to what I was seeing and hearing. While I was not physical with Ms. Gina, I regret arguing with an elder. We’re six months removed from this incident and I’m looking forward, not backwards.”
