Where do we sign up? Delta Air Lines is being generous this year, all employees will receive $1,250 for Employee Appreciation Day.

In a memo sent out to employees on behalf of the company, employees were told that the payment is part of a profit-sharing of more than $100 million. Employees who were with the airline the whole year will receive the full $1,250 payment, while those who started in mid-2021 will get half that amount.

Delta CEO Ed Bastian said that Delta was the only major U.S. airline to see a profit during the second half of last year, which he credits Delta’s employees.

“This is a truly remarkable achievement,” Bastian said. “Amid the continuing challenges, including one of the most difficult holiday environments we’ve ever encountered, you continue to rise above and provide unmatched service to our customers. You never falter in taking care of one another, our customers, and the communities we serve.”

The payments will go out on Feb. 14.
