A page from a Spider-man comic book makes history for being the most expensive page from a comic book after selling for millions.
On Thursday, the vintage comic page, along with another page from the same book, sold for $3,648,000. The first page sold for $288,000. As a result, the two pages ultimately created history. The second page sold became “world’s most valuable page of original comic book artwork.”

The artwork from page 25 of the ‘Marvel Comics “Secret Wars” shows Spider-man’s initial appearance in his black suit. The suit can be credited for the inspiration behind Spidey’s alter-ego Venom.
The Heritage Auction’s Department of Comics head Joe Mannarino says, “Today’s results prove what we’ve long been saying: Comic book art is as beloved and valuable as anything put on canvas.”
The record-breaking bidding began at $330,000 and quickly skyrocketed to $3 million at the Heritage Auction four-day comic event located in Dallas, Texas.
