Sha’Carri Richardson doesn’t have plans of joining the “Big Brother” house at the moment.
The one-time Olympic favorite denounced the claims that she was joining the show’s cast, TMZ learned.
Earlier this week, Richardson’s name flooded “Celebrity Big Brother” message boards and then news broke Wednesday saying she’d be an upcoming contestant.
Unfortunately for the American track star’s fans, the reports aren’t real.
Her rep Ashley Blackwood, told TMZ, “Sha’Carri was contacted months ago to be on Big Brother and declined. All coverage on her participating are false and simply just rumors.”
Sha’Carri was on the list of favorites set to represent the USA at last year’s Olympic games but shortly before she failed a drug test- marijuana was found in her system.
Other possible contestant names rumored to be on the show were “RHOBH” star Erika Jayne and former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes. However, sources close to both say they will not appear either.
CBS will air the show on February 2.
The clock is ticking to lock down more big names.
