This summer, Coca-Cola is making an alcoholic version of one of their most beloved drinks from the Simply brand.

This will be the company’s third alcoholic beverage, and it’s designed to capitalize on the growing popularity of canned cocktails.

Molson Coors (TAP) and Coca-Cola have teamed up to create Simply Spiked Lemonade, an alcoholic drink inspired by the Simply brand’s fruit juice.

So far, the beverage comes in four flavors: strawberry lemonade, watermelon lemonade, blueberry lemonade, and ordinary lemonade. The alcohol will be made from sugar cane that has been fermented.

According to Molson’s Chief Marketing Officer Michelle St. Jacques, there was a “big opportunity” for Simply because it’s a “powerful and beloved” product.

During an exclusive interview with CNN Business, she said, “Simply is known for its bold flavor and real fruit juice, and there’s a great opportunity to create a new brand (in the alcohol aisle).”

There will be a variety of Simply Spiked Lemonade cans available, including 12-pack slim cans with  5% alcohol by volume, and 24-ounce standalone cans. Prices have not yet been released.

Molson believes the new product will succeed due to consumers’ preference for bold flavors in the alcohol category, despite consumers shifting away from sugary drinks.

Coke’s Simply brand is the company’s second-biggest brand in the US, generating $1 billion in revenue.
