When it rains, it pours. Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, are again in legal trouble. One security officer is suing the couple after alleging Petty sucker-punched him backstage.
According to TMZ, the altercation happened in March 2019 at Nicki’s concert in Germany. Nicki was allegedly upset at a female security guard after a male concertgoer made his way onstage during her performance.
Head of Security Thomas Weidenmuller claims the female officer was left in tears after Nicki called her a “f**king b*tch.” Thomas says he then decided to intervene and record the incident. But Nicki didn’t cut him any slack and went off on him too. He claims she was throwing a shoe at him and yelled out, “who do you think you are?”
Thomas says he was invited back into the room for a discussion, but Nicki just continued to rip him to shreds verbally. Suddenly, Thomas was struck in the face by Petty. Thomas claims to have undergone eight surgeries and will have six additional operations to fix his broken jaw. He currently has five plates in his head from the prior surgeries.
Thomas is suing the couple for an unspecified amount in addition to the cost of his medical bills.
