The iOS 15.4 beta will be adding several valuable improvements, including the option to perform Face ID while wearing a mask and the ability to place the Apple Card widget in the Today view.
Among the latest features of iOS 15.4, the most interesting is the next generation of emojis.
There are currently 37 additional pictographs in the emoji repertoire, according to Emojipedia.
Last year it was revealed that the new icons would include a melting face, a snapping hand, a playground slide, and a troll, as well as a fading battery and a dotted line face emoji.
As part of the update, emojis for pregnant people and people with crowns now have gender-neutral versions, including variations of existing emojis, like the handshake icon, which comes in several skin tones.
According to MacRumors, the update will deliver a total of 112 characters, including the mirror ball, glass pouring liquid, nests with eggs, empty nests, bubbles, a lotus flower, an X-ray, and an index finger pointing at the viewer.
Users who are enrolled in Apple’s developer program can download the iOS 15.4 beta. Still, it’s crucial to understand that pre-release software frequently has issues that might slow down a device’s performance.
The iOS 15.4 update is likely to be released later this spring.
