They’re sold! And a for a hefty price. From an unforgettable time in his career, Michael Jordan‘s game shoes have sold for $422,130.
Jordan’s shoes, believed to be worn during the Golden State Warriors game on Oct. 29 in 1985, have a new owner. The auction sold the shoes for nearly half a million on Lelands. The sneakers also have rich history because it’s the pair that Jordan fractured his left foot, and it caused him to miss six months of his sophomore season.
Though the shoes are sold, it looks like the new owner will have to do with the mismatched sizes. The Jordans are Jordan’s famous different sizes, 13 (left) and 13 ½ (right).
According to Complex, Lelands obtained the sneakers from a consignor whose father was gifted the game-worn sneakers personally from Jordan at the time.
Since ESPN’s The Last Dance documentary premiere, the sneakers have been a hot commodity.
