Sharon Stone is the latest celebrity criticizing Joe Rogan and his Spotify podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” for spreading Covid-19 misinformation.
According to TMZ, the 63-year-old actress addressed Rogan’s recent statement supporting Spotify’s decision to label Covid-19 content with advisory warnings, saying, “[Rogan] should put a disclaimer that he’s an a**hole.”
Stone claims she wasn’t pleased with the new policy that Spotify has put in place, “he’s “risking people’s lives with his idiocy.”
“Covid and infectious diseases are science, and they are fact-based situations,” Stone told TMZ, “So the pretense that these are opinions is dangerous, and his behavior is dangerous.”
Based on her experience with infectious diseases, Stone believes that his interviews and COVID theories have already cost people their lives.
On Twitter, Stone tweeted that she supported Neil Young by canceling her Spotify accounts “in the name of truth.”
In August 2020, it was reported that the actresses grandmother and godmother had died from the coronavirus.
