Two rude passengers were escorted from a Delta flight after causing a scene. On Tuesday, Delta Flight 1582 departed from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport for Atlanta but returned to the terminal.
NBC News reports witnesses saw one of two passengers cursing at the flight attendants. After the incident, Delta apologized to passengers since there was a 28-minute delay since it returned to terminals.
Delta says it “has zero-tolerance for unruly behavior” and apologized for the inconvenience. The airline isn’t the only one that has faced unruly passengers. Multiple airlines have reported a spike in rude passengers due to COVID-19 and staff shortages.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, most of the rudeness comes from passengers wearing a mask during the flight, which was mandated across all flights. However, in the recent incident earlier in the week, both passengers had masks on in the video.
