Quality Control artist Lakeyah joined Yung Miami for her birthday celebration on Thursday night, but that wasn’t the only reason she was in the city.
Rumor has it, she was also in town for a music video shoot featuring her and another artist.
Although she had no comment on the claim, she did share that the potential collaboration could be dropping sooner rather than later.
“I’m turning 21 this month, so yall stay tuned. I might drop it on my birthday,” Lakeyah said.
The QC princess has worked with many male rappers like Lil Baby, Gucci Mane, and 42 Dugg, but Lakeya is looking to add more women to that list.
“I feel like I done worked with so many male artists. I’m trying to work with way more female rappers this year.”
She also said she would like to work with Summer Walker and Lucky Daye if she were to do any R&B collaborations in 2022. So it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more girl power in Lakeyah’s upcoming music.
