The Brooklyn Museum announced a new exhibit honoring the late Virgil Abloh called “Figures of Speech,” which is set to open this summer.

The exhibit, which runs from July 1 through January 29, is described as the “first museum survey exhibition devoted to the late artist and designer.” Spanning nearly two decades of the designer’s career, the exhibit will showcase fashion, large-scale sculpture, videos, immersive spaces, and sketches.

The “Figures of Speech” exhibition is organized by Michael Darling, the former chief curator at MCA Chicago. Antwaun Sargent is responsible for Organizing the Brooklyn Museum presentation.

Abloh passed after a private cancer battle in November at the age of 41.
