Tinder Swindler Headed to Court To Face The Real Leviev Family

Simon Leviev, aka “Shimon Hayut,” aka the “Tinder Swindler,” has been banned from almost every dating app, and now he’s out of options to scam women.

According to TMZ, Match Group — owners of OkCupid, Hinge, PlentyofFish, OurTime, Meetic, Pairs, and Match has permanently banned Simon from all their apps.

A Tinder official claims that Simon and his several aliases will no longer be able to register an account on their platform because he had broken their terms of service, notably impersonation and soliciting money.

“We have conducted internal investigations and can confirm Simon Leviev is no longer active on Tinder under any of his known aliases,” Tinder said in a statement.

In the new Netflix documentary, it explains how Simon used Tinder to flaunt his opulent lifestyle in the hopes of gaining women’s trust and devotion. After baiting them in, he’d persuade them to “loan” him money, all before disappearing with their money.

Like a Ponzi scheme, he used one woman’s money to impress the next, and so on. In total, he allegedly scammed over $10 million from his victims.

In 2019, he was finally arrested and sent back to Israel, where he was released after only five months.

According to Variety, Leviev took to his Instagram Story last week to proclaim that he intends to give his side of the story soon.
