Two of the three Tennessee inmates who escaped from jail through an air vent have died.
This past Friday, Tobias Wayne Carr, 38, Timothy Allen Sarver, 45, and Johnny Shane Brown, 50, broke free from the air vent system on the roof of Sullivan County Jail.
As Baller Alert previously reported, the men were arrested and jailed for various crimes, including second-degree murder, vandalism, harassment aggravated stalking, among other charges.
On Tuesday, two of the escapees, Carr and Sarver were “confirmed deceased” in Wilmington, North Carolina, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday, NBC News reports. Carr and Sarver were involved in a robbery at a convenience store in another part of North Carolina, which “led authorities on a multi-jurisdictional pursuit before the vehicle was disabled in Wilmington,” officials say. Officials have yet to reveal the details of their deaths.
Authorities are still looking for Brown, who is still on the loose.
