Beloved actor and comedian Bob Saget passed away from unspecified head trauma.
On Wednesday, the family confirmed the cause of death. According to their statement, the “Full House” star hit his head at some point and proceeded to go to bed in his Florida hotel room. He passed away from this injury.
“Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us,” the family stated.
Another source close to the case told TMZ that the late actor died from a “brain bleed.” They also corroborated the head injury, stating that Saget had a noticeable bruise to the back of his head.
Saget’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, sat down with “Good Morning America” last month before the cause of death was revealed. She shared that her husband seemed to be in good health despite having COVID-19 in December. She said that the virus “was not anything serious.
Hotel officials performing a welfare check found the 65-year-old dead on January 9th in his hotel room at the Orlando, Florida Ritz-Carlton. Investigators confirmed that there were no signs of drugs or foul play at the scene. They described the hotel room as being very “orderly.”
