It looks like nothing will get in the way of these lovebirds. Mariah Carey and boyfriend Bryan Tanaka extended their Valentine’s festivities despite Nick Cannon dropping an “ode” to Mariah— “Alone.”
Mariah Carey posted an Instagram selfie with her beau captioned, “Valentine’s marathon continues. Hour 23! ❤️” The post comes after Nick Cannon dropped a sample to his ex-wife’s song, “Love Takes Time.” Apparently, he wants the relationship back.
His lyrics say, “First off, I’m gonna say I ain’t got nothing but love for ya,” Cannon sings in part. “Nothing but love/Imma stay away, I ain’t trying to f— it up for ya/I keep my distance, stay in my lane/Cause I know you got a man, it’s a little too late.”
It looks like he is referencing her relationship with Tanaka. Cannon shared the song on Valentine’s Day for anyone feeling alone on Valentine’s Day.
This is for anybody else who is #ALONE on Valentines Day… I had to come Raw from the heart on this one. #Broken #Shattered #Toxic #RAW&B #Alone https://t.co/nGrqLoZIem pic.twitter.com/TeRJCOa9jt

Carey has yet to comment on Cannon’s pleas, but she and Tanaka seem to be in a great place. According to People, the relationship is going strong, and Tanaka is super close with her children.
Carey and Tanaka started dating after separating from Australian billionaire James Packer in 2016. However, they’ve known each other since the early 2000s since Tanaka has been her backup dancer.
