DaBaby’s lawyer criticizes Brandon Bills’ lawsuit against his client and calls the investigation a waste of “time and energy.”
Drew Findling, DaBaby’s lawyer, says Bills’ legal move is nothing but a money scheme, seeing as he threatened DaBaby first. Findling’s opinion stems from Bills’ comment he made last November about wanting to fight the rapper.
“It is offensive that this alleged victim threatened and instigated violence. And has now used this incident to make a quick money grab,” Findling says.
As previously reported, Bills is suing DaBaby for assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence. However, Findling believes Bills’ suit should be thrown out considering how fast he filed the lawsuit. Meanwhile, DaBaby is adamant that his involvement in the fight was just an act of self-defense.
Last week, DaBaby and his crew got into a physical brawl with DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Bills. The fight took place at a bowling alley that DaBaby and his entourage are now banned from. Bills claim he was just trying to talk with the rapper before the altercation broke out.
If you’re not aware, Bills was defending his sister, DaniLeigh, after she got into a heated argument with her child’s father, DaBaby, a while back. The argument led to DaniLeigh being arrested on two counts of assault.
