Fwaygo Music announced Friday that Antonio Brown signed a $5 million deal to be the face of the TuneCore-backed streaming platform.
The streamer posted a video to their IG page, captioned “After A $5M Deal, @ab Is Now The Face Of Fwaygo,” alongside a fire emoji.
“A $5 million deal. AB. He’s the face of Fwaygo. Plain and simple. That’s what we’re doing,” the company’s founder says as AB’s “Pit Not The Palace” plays in the background. “Everybody’s wondering what he’s doing after football. He’s doing music.”
Fwaygo was created by Jeremy Greene, John Lagerling, and Janelle Greene and launched in November. The platform is known for giving independent artists the ability to be seen and heard. The company announced a partnership with independent music distributor TuneCore earlier this month.
Brown, a free agent, has been mainly focusing on his music career since walking off the field in the middle of a game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In addition, he announced that he would serve as president of Kanye West’s Donda Sport.
