New details have emerged in the case of a murdered Pennsylvania Uber driver and mother of four. Dashcam footage of the encounter revealed the driver begged for her life before being fatally shot by her passenger.

Christi Spicuzza, 38, picked up Calvin Crew, 22, at around 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 10. About 10 minutes into the ride, he put a gun to the back of her head. It was all captured on the dashcam.

“You’ve got to be joking,” Spicuzza said when she reached back and felt the gun, a criminal complaint obtained by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette alleges. Crew told her to keep driving.

When Spicuzza told him she had a family, he replied that he had one too. “I’m begging you, I have four kids,” she pleaded. She allegedly kept asking the gunman to put the gun down.

“Do what I say, and everything will be all right,” Crew told Spicuzza. The dashcam video ends when Crew reaches forward and grabs it.

Spicuzza was found in a wooded area in Monroeville on Feb. 12. She died from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Crew was arrested on Thursday and charged with homicide, robbery, and tampering with evidence. He was arraigned and held without bail in the Allegheny County Jail on Friday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.

Police located the dashcam on Thursday in the area where Crew asked Spicuzza to be dropped off. Her car was found in Pitcairn several hours before a delivery driver discovered her body, the Post-Gazette reports.

The two had no prior connection, and police believe Crew’s motivation was to rob Spicuzza. The case is still under investigation.
