Taco Bell has announced they are bringing back a fan-favorite sweet treat, the Klondike Choco Taco.
The frozen dessert will be available for purchase at 20 different Los Angeles and Milwaukee locations. The $2.99 Choco Taco will be sold starting on Thursday but only for a limited time. The fast-food franchise says the dessert will be a tester that could possibly become nationwide.
The Choco Taco is a waffle-based “taco” with fudge-swirled vanilla ice cream topped with a crunchy chocolate sauce.
In 2015, Taco Bell pulled the Choco Taco from its menus. However, ice cream lovers were still able to buy the dessert from some grocery stores.
Along with the collaboration, Taco Bell and Klondike are reaching an important milestone. The franchise will be turning 60-years-old this year while Klondike is turning 100-years-old. Taco Bell calls the joint idea with Klondike “special” because it’s happening during their anniversary year.
