Queen Elizabeth II has postponed several virtual events since testing positive for the coronavirus on Sunday.
The Queen has been on light duty, carrying out some of her royal responsibilities.
According to Reuters, Elizabeth spoke with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the phone on Wednesday, and the call was described as “an encouraging sign of her recovery.”
During a brief palace press briefing, a spokesperson said that the Queen is experiencing mild, cold-like symptoms but will continue to perform light duties.
According to the BBC, the light responsibilities include examining, signing, and approving documents supplied from various government ministries as needed.
A spokesman stated that she has no other commitments this week but that all canceled virtual audiences will be rescheduled.
