Laverne Cox co-hosted the E! red carpet for Sunday night’s SAG Awards and got the chance to catch up with Will and Jada where she awkwardly reminded the couple of Jada’s previous entanglement while also praising them for the work they put out.
Cox says to Will, 53, “We love you. Thank you for all the years of joy you’ve brought us.” After that, she turns to Jada, 50, “Thank you. We can’t wait for more ‘Red Table Talk’ and more entanglements.”
The term “entanglement” went viral on social media after Jada admitted on the show of her “situationship” with rapper August Alsina, 29. Though she never counted it as officially cheating on Will, she labeled the incident as an entanglement.
The interaction seemed messy from Cox, but Jada and Will could take a joke. Jada responded, “No more of those.”
It was a successful night for Will as he took home Most Outstanding Performance by Male Actor in Leading Role for King Richard at the 2022 SAG Awards.
