Gary Payton recently revealed the disgusting way Shaquille O’Neal would haze rookies during his NBA career. In a sitdown with VladTV, Payton opened up about the jokes the two used to play while playing for the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.
“We used to always play jokes,” Payton stated. “Shaq is a jokester. So if one of the rookies would be in the stall, he would take a bucket and use the bathroom in it for about a week. And then all of a sudden, he would pour it on them.”
Payton did not divulge any names of the rookies Shaq gave golden showers.
The former basketball player went on to detail the manner in which he exacted revenge on Shaq: taking his underwear. He said it didn’t bother Shaq, who would just wrap a towel around himself and ride around in his truck.
“He’d get in his truck and ride around and then he would throw the towel out and then he’d be free-balling,” Payton said. “So I used to keep all the shorts and pair of drawers and all that stuff.”
Payton says he kept a payer of Shaq’s underwear, which are now framed in his house.
