Tinder Swindler Headed to Court To Face The Real Leviev Family

Simon Leviev, the notorious star of Netflix’s “Tinder Swindler” claims a scammer account swindled him on Instagram.

According to TMZ, sources familiar with the situation say Simon was contacted last Thursday by a female with a verified account on Instagram claiming she could help Simon and his girlfriend Kate Konlin get verified on the app.

The woman said her boyfriend worked at Meta, and the alleged swindlers went to great lengths to gain Simon’s trust.

The boyfriend even FaceTimed Leviev from a busy office, with employees walking around behind him and convinced him to send $6,664 via PayPal through 2 separate transactions — one for him and one for his girlfriend.

Shortly after the transaction, Simon’s manager reached out to an actual team member at Meta, who confirmed that they don’t charge for verifications.

By the time Leviev and his managers realized they had been swindled the scammers had completely wiped their IG accounts from the internet and made off with his cash.
