T.I. took to Instagram Saturday to respond to claims made by Kodak Black that T.I. and Big Boi tried to get Kodak kicked off his label.
During an interview with The Breakfast Club, the “Super Gremlin” rapper spit, “N*ggas tryin’ to play me out my money. Made a general statement; I was speaking in third person. They tried to twist the shit to hurt me. Snatchin’ off food from a table. T.I. and Big Boi tried to get me kicked up off the label.”
T.I came across the footage while scrolling on social media and shut down Kodak’s claims.
“I ain’t never wasted my time, energy, or oxygen trying to worry about you or anybody else and what muthaf*ckin’ record label they were signed to,” Tip says in the video. “That ain’t how I get down.”
The “Whatever You Like” rapper went on to say that the two don’t even know each other and that he doesn’t care what record label Kodak is signed to or how much money he has.
He wished the rapper nothing but success and said he told Kodak that to his face when they ran into each other recently.
“I told you, man, I’m happy for your success, and I wish you much more of it. And I wish you the absolute best on your journey,” Tip continued. “So I don’t know where that sh*t came from.”
He finished up by saying that Kodak’s song is “jammin’” and that he rocks with it.
