Michael B. Jordan will be starring in and co-producing the ‘I Am Legend’ sequel alongside Will Smith.
On Friday, Will shared a photo to Instagram of a deserted street from the original 2007 film, tagging Jordan, hinting that he will be a part of the sequel.
Not only are Smith and Jordan appearing in the film, but according to Deadline, both will be co-producing the movie as well. A director for the film has not yet been announced. However, the movie’s original co-writer Akiva Goldsman says he’s in favor of writing for the second installment.
The original ‘I Am Legend’ made more than $585 million worldwide. The film follows Robert Neville (Will Smith), a scientist surviving a post-apocalyptic plague in New York City.
