The lawyer representing an unidentified woman who accused Chris Brown of rape and sued the singer for $20 million has withdrawn from the case.
Yesterday the “With You” singer released a string of racy text messages and a voice note from the woman in efforts to refute her claims and prove their encounter was consensual.
Attorney Ariel Mitchell confirmed to TMZ that the woman did send those messages to Brown. She also told the news outlet that she was dropping from the case since the woman never informed her about the messages.
Miami Beach PD is reportedly still investigating the incident and has received the texts between Chris and the unnamed accuser.
