Khloe Kardashian cleared up some things regarding her family’s nine-figure paychecks they’ll be receiving for their upcoming reality show.
Recently, an insider spoke with Variety about the Kardashian clan’s coins they’ll be racking up soon. The source did not disclose the exact number but said the Kardashian-Jenner family would be bringing in a heft penny.
However, Khloe Kardashian defends her family and says they’re not settling.
“We give so much of our personal lives up for entertainment,” Khloe tells Variety. “We always have our private family conversations, and we’re pretty brutal, my sisters and me with what we will settle for or not settle for. Not all money is good money. It has to be a good fit, and Hulu was just the perfect fit for us.”
The newest Kardashian series will air on Hulu, which is a streaming company owned by Disney.
“We stepped up to a great deal that they very much deserve,” says Dana Walden, Walt Disney Television’s chairman of entertainment. “Who would you want more for your unscripted slate than the Kardashians? They perfectly symbolize our strategy, which is taking big shots, but the right shots, and betting on incredible talent and best-in-class opportunities in each genre.”
Khloe also adds that all of her sisters will be paid equally, and momager Kris Jenner ensured that.
“Well, money always matters,” Kris says. “I think that anybody would be foolish to say that money doesn’t matter anymore.”
The upcoming Kardashian reality show will premiere on Hulu on April 14th.
