A woman in Nevada is accused of stabbing a man during sex as revenge for killing an Iranian general in 2020.
Nika Nikoubin, 21, has been charged with attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and burglary after she allegedly stabbed a man she met online. After meeting virtually, the two physically met up at Sunset Station hotel on March 5 and rented a room together, The Guardian reports.
The two started having sex, and at some point, Nikoubin blindfolded the man and flipped the lights off. Moments later, the man “felt a pain on the side of his neck,” KLAS reports. In a police report, authorities stated that Nikoubin killed the man as revenge against US troops for killing Qassem Suleimani in 2020.” Suleimani was a top general in Iran’s military; U.S. forces killed him during a drone strike.
After getting stabbed, the man pushed Nikoubin away, ran out of the room and called the police. When police arrested Nikoubin, she told them she’d “wanted revenge.” The woman is set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 24. There are no details on the status of the man.
