A California ambulance worker was arrested last week after he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl on the way to the hospital.Â
According to the New York Post, 22-year-old Jason Anderson was on duty in the back of an American Medical Response ambulance last Friday when he ‘sexually assaulted and solicited sexual acts from the teenage patient,’ the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.Â
He was arrested for felony sexual battery and felony sexual penetration by force of a 14 to 17-year-old. Though he was released on $75,000 bail, sheriffs believe there may be more victims.Â
American Medical Response officials say an investigation has started and released a statement.Â
“The employee in question was placed on administrative leave during the course of our internal investigation and has not worked since the day the alleged incident took place.”Â
Anderson is expected to appear in court on June 21.Â
