Lizzo has announced the launch of her new all-inclusive shapewear line, Yitty.

Last week, Lizzo hinted at revealing something big to her 12 million followers on Instagram. In a post, Lizzo teased at her shapewear project calling it “bigger than anything I’ve ever done.” The singer unveiled her “no-shame, smile-inducing shapewear” backed by Kate Hudson’s Fabletics.

Yitty’s first three collections will be available for purchase on April 12th. The line will include a wide range of sizes from XS to 6X. The collections will feature Nearly Naked, a line of lightweight seamless shaping garments. Mesh Me, a selection of smoothing mesh styles. Major Label, which includes loungewear separates like leggings and sweatshirts.

“Instead of thinking about size in this linear way, we’re thinking about it on a spectrum where everyone is included,” Lizzo says. “Everyone’s size is just their size. It’s not high, it’s not low, it’s not big, it’s not small. It’s just your size.”

She continued, “I felt that I was constantly being told through TV and magazines that my body wasn’t good enough. And, in order to be considered ‘acceptable’. I had to inflict some sort of pain upon it to fit into an archetype of beauty. Because of this, I’ve been wearing shapewear for a long time. Maybe since I was in fifth or sixth grade.”

Lizzo also added that she isn’t encouraging customers to “reshape” their figure but promoting self-love through shapewear that “should make you feel like that b*tch when you’re putting [it] on.”
