Police are looking for three robbers who mugged a senior woman in the Bronx over the weekend.
At around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, a 76-year-old woman was going into the lobby of Roberts and Hobart avenues in Pelham Bay when three suspects ran up on her and started pulling her hair. The incident was captured on surveillance footage. The woman can be seen trying to close the doors on the thieves, but it doesn’t work.
Video then shows one of the suspects pulling the woman’s purse and swinging the woman until she falls to the ground. The thieves then take off running with her belonging. Inside her purse was a debit card, $50 in cash and insurance cards, police said.
The entire ordeal left the woman with a fractured hip; she was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment. The suspects are still on the loose.
