Restaurant giant Bojangles is giving back to its customers by offering $1 million in free gasoline.
The giveaway began on Monday and does not appear to have a definite end date. Any customer who purchases a Bojangles Family Meal with 12 or 20 pieces of bone-in chicken, biscuits, a side, and tea will get a $10 gas gift card at participating locations.
“We don’t want anyone to have to choose between enjoying a delicious meal with the family or buying gas, so let Bojangles help with both,” said Jackie Woodward, Bojangles Chief Brand, and Marketing Officer.
The giveaway comes as gas prices continue to reach record heights. In March, prices reached their highest, with some states running over $6 per gallon. Other corporations and even celebrities have pitched in to donate gas. Rapper Rod Wave will be holding a gas giveaway in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida, on April 9th. On Saturday, an Indianapolis church also gave away free gasoline to hundreds of people.
Family Meals featuring Chicken Supremes and all delivery orders are not eligible for the promotion. The giveaway will run while supplies last.
