Rapper Polo G is finally cleared from his police attack case.
Polo’s final two counts of misdemeanors for resisting an officer without violence were dropped after he completed a 6-hour anger management course. The rapper was able to walk away free because of the Pre-Trial Intervention program. The program allows non-violent offenses to be dropped after offenders complete the programs.
In November, three of the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence. Polo was hit with two felony charges, including battery of a police officer and threatening a public servant. However, his non-violent misdemeanor remained.
Polo was arrested in June 2021 during a traffic stop for allegedly attacking a cop. According to the affidavit, the officers had a swollen right cheek and abrasions to the face. The cop reportedly received more injuries of elbow strikes to his head and punches after attempting the put handcuffs on the rapper.
Since Polo didn’t plead guilty, he will also avoid probation.
