Bobby Shmurda is still at odds with his record label Epic Records. On Friday, the rapper called them out on an Instagram post.
“Hating a** MF’s is blocking me off ig because they Boring a** artist they gotta push so much money into is dropping are they sound alike look alike a**es is about to drop idk I don’t even care I don’t pay attention to them

He posted with a caption that read: “They put they money up to block me off IG live cause I’m making Mf’s Smile too much they hate that they gotta put money up before they artist post to get millions of views they all cap foh bum a** company’s going broke trying to hold on to anything they could smh AND LAST HOWEVER NOT LEAST IMA ABOUT TO DROP SH*T THAT ABOUT TO F*** UP ALOT OF CareerS MF’s wanna play with meeeeee okay”
This isn’t the first time Bobby blasted his record label. In February the Brooklyn artist made a post—that was later deleted voicing his frustration with the label.
He claimed then that the label was preventing him from releasing music and he wanted out.
“This is not a cry for help this is a message and understanding for my fans that they stopping my music and prolonging my career I been holding shit down doing everything on my own since I been home it’s been ah year now I still feel like I’m in prison 😣🦾🦍🔥💯💯💯 and by the way the album’s done ready to live pleaseeeeeeeee I need them to let me gooooooooo!!! #FreeShmurda,” Bobby said in the caption under his post.
The post itself Bobby wrote that there is a “70 year old lady” running his label, which was referencing 69-year-old Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone. He also said that despite his six years in prison, they kept him signed to continue to earn money off him. He admitted that he loves Rhone, but he feels frustrated she and Epic are not willing to let him go or release his own music.
Apparently, the two are still at odds. Hopefully, they can come to an agreement that works for both.
