A man was found guilty of murder after officials found decomposing bodies of his family in his home.
On Thursday, Anthony Todt was found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder and one count of animal cruelty. On January 13, FBI agents arrived at Todt’s home to serve him with a warrant for health care fraud. Todt had a shady business going on with his physical therapy business.
However, while there, police found the bodies of his wife, Megan Todt (42), their two sons, Alek (13), Tyler (11), their youngest child, Zoe, and their dog, Breezy.
Anthony Todt was immediately arrested and charged, and he pled not guilty to the murders.
Judge Keith A. Carsten sentenced Todt to four consecutive life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole. Following the verdict, Judge Carsten called Todt a “destroyer of worlds.” He added that “not one of those lives [taken] was less valuable than the other.”
