You have to pay up when it comes to hopping on a track with Snoop Dogg! Snoop Dogg reveals in Full Send Podcast that artists must pay him a hefty check if they want him on a song. And it’s another check if you want the legendary artist in a music video.
It costs $250,000 for 16 bars to have Snoop Dogg do a guest verse. And he wants more if you want him to appear in your music video.
Snoop Dogg says, “You’ll get about 16 bars,” he said. “And when it’s time to do the video, I need to get another $250,000 up out of you. And you only got an hour, so get to filming.”
It looks like BTS paid the price because Snoop Dogg confirmed that he will be working with them very soon; though he didn’t tell all, he says it’s “official.”
“It’s official like a referee with a whistle,” he said. “I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”
